Volunteering

Volunteers make our world go ’round and we love them for sure!

As a volunteer-powered non-profit organization, Douglas County Canine Rescue would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The number of dogs we can save depends on the number of people we have helping us. We are always looking for new volunteers!
There are many ways you can volunteer with Douglas County Canine Rescue. From the preparing for our dogs arrival, to meeting them at transport, to helping at adoption events, and assisting with new foster house visits, every step along on our dog’s journey relies on volunteers.
